Summary: | The prefabricated building structure (1) is assembled from precast foundation elements (14), floor panels (20), and wall and roof panels (22,38). The wall panels comprise a perimeter frame of hollow steel tube members which are also used to form window and door openings. The frame members are biassed towards the panel interior by resiliently extendible mesh links tensioned by turnbuckles. polystyrene foam or other suitable material is cast in the frame around the tension links to form the panel slab such that loads imposed on the panel are transferred to the frame. |
