The method of recovering metal compounds from industrial sewage, where organic substances suspensions are removed from sewage, and further sewage is subjected to the action of chemicals and possibly organic polyelectrolytes and, after the fluid is eliminated from above the produced sediment of a metal compound, the sediment is rinsed and dehydrated. In this method, organic substances suspensions are removed from sewage and, further, the stream of sewage free from such suspensions is entered into the first zone of sewage neutralization and, after this zone is filled with sewage, the remaining part of the sewage stream is directed to the second zone of neutralization and possibly to subsequent zones of neutralization, each time when the previous zone is filled with sewage. When a given zone of neutralization is filled with sewage, chemicals, and later possibly an organic polyelectrolyte, is/are entered into this zone; the processes of filling the neutralization zone, precipitating the metal compound with the application of chemicals, and the sedimentation of the precipitated settlings of the metal compound are carried out in neutralization zones subsequently with time shift, carrying... 2.
