Summary:A sound barrier composed of reinforced concrete posts and a covering, wherein each component of the barrier consists of three reinforced concrete posts (1) formed in the shape of the number "2" and a covering fastened to them, with the covering between one end post (1) and the centre post consisting of concrete shell (3) with dispersed reinforcement, whereas the covering between the centre post (1) and the other end post best consists of a transparent coating (4), while the bottom of the concrete shell (3) and coating (4) is finished with precast concrete filler units (5) and (6), and sound-absorbing elements (7) are mounted on the side facing the noise source, best if fastened to the posts, with the sections being mounted so that air space is formed between them and the concrete shell (3) and being protected by an open-work structure (8).
