Summary: | The weldable abrasion-resistant steel is designed especially for elements of troughs of mining scrapper conveyors, especially for their lateral profiles with the walls at least 30 mm thick. The weldable abrasion-resistant steel is designed especially for elements of troughs of mining scrapper conveyors, especially for their lateral profiles with the walls at least 30 mm thick. It consists of the following components by mass: coal - 0.23 percent, manganese - 0.90 to 1.40 percent, phosphorus - up to 0.030 percent, sulphur - up to 0.015 percent, chromium - up to 0.25 percent, nickel - up to 0.30 percent, aluminium - 0.025 to 0.050 percent, and silicon and molybdenum. Characterized in that: It contains 0.020 to 0.050 percent of titanium and 0.001 to 0.003 percent of boron, while the top limit of coal content is 0.34 percent and the top limit of silicon content is 0.40 percent and the top limit of molybdenum content is 0.08 percent. |
