Summary:A napkin comprises an absorbent core between a pervious topsheet and an impervious backsheet, with all parts extensible, and a fastener for securing the napkin to the garment, the fastener allowing at least parts of the napkin to extend. The napkin is pref. extensible both longitudinally and transversely and may require extending before applying to the garment, or may be extended by forces applied during use. Stretched length is pref. at least 25% greater than unstretched length. The napkin may be provided with a pull-out tab so that the user can lengthen the napkin.
