Summary:The present utility model relates to a Bidens pilosa ethanol extract antihypertensive tablet, comprising a ground, dried plant material extracted using ten (10) liters of ethanol for 24 hours making a first extraction; a marc extracted again using ten (10) liters of ethanol for another 24 hours making a second extraction; a bulk extract pooled from the first and the second extractions; the bulk extract subjected to vacuum concentration at 60-70øC to produce a concentrate; the concentrate filtered and homogenized using 20-40 pcnt of a homogenizing solution to form a homogenized solution; the homogenized solution spray-dried at 170-180øC inlet and 70-80øC outlet to make the Bidens pilosa ethanol extract; said Bidens pilosa ethanol extract mixed with an equivalent weight of colloidal silicon dioxide and an appropriate amount of starch making a first mixture; another set of starch sieved and mixed with sufficient water until the formation of paste making a second mixture; said first and second mixtures mixed via geometric dilution to form a wet mass; the wet mass screened through mesh #4, then dried at 60øC until a proper sampling of the meshed mass has a moisture content of not greater than 3 pcnt ; meshed mass screened through sieves #20 and #40, and labeled as good granules and fine granules, respectively; and said good and fine granules proportionately mixed with magnesium stearate.
