Summary: | The present technology discloses an antihypertensive tablet using Erythrina variegata var. orientalis ethanolic extract obtained by method comprising washing and drying of leaves, comminution and extraction using ethanol formulation and mixing with colloidal silicon dioxide, starch, and magnesium stearate. The antihypertensive tablet has a composition of 50.15 pcnt silicated dried ethanolic extract of Erythrina variegata, with equal parts of dried ethanolic extract of Erythrina variegata, 44.73 pcnt starch as diluent, 5.02 pcnt starch paste having a concentration in water of 5 pcnt as binder/disintegrant, and 0.1 pcnt magnesium stearate as lubricant. |
