A device (10) for trapping and collecting floating trash in flowing water bodies comprising a trash trapping member (12) defining a first frame (14) having a pair of posts (16) and a forward bended end (18), said first frame (14) includes a perimeter fence (20) submerged to said water bodies, and a primary floater (22) movably secured above said posts (16); a trash collecting member (24) integrally attached to the trapping member (12), said member (24) defining a second frame (26) forming a compartment (28) having a transverse flange (29) at lower front edge, said second frame (26) includes a peripheral wall (30) submerged to said water bodies, and a secondary floater (32) fixedly secured above said second frame (26); and a pouch basket (34) removably held inside said compartment (28) serves as a container for removable and disposal of trapped and collected trash from said flowing water bodies.
