Summary:The present invention provides UTI fusion proteins, DNA sequences for producing the same, and pharmaceutical compositions and methods of using the same. In a specific embodiment the UTI fusion protein comprises amino acids 1-149 of SEQ ID NO:1, which consists of the mature human UTI protein (amino acids residues 1-143) connected via a GS linker (amino acids 144-149) that is linked directly to a Fc portion comprising the hinge, second (CH2) and third (CH3) constant regions of the wild-type human IgG1 protein. These fusion proteins have an increased thermostability.
