A patient interface for delivering breathable gas to a patient comprising a nasal pillows assembly adapted to form a seal with a patient's nose, the nasal pillows assembly including a pair of nasal pillows and a gusset. Each pillow includes (i) a wall of pillow region (25g-1), (ii) an attachment of pillow to stalk region (25g-2), (iii) a stalk region (25g-3) and (iv) an attachment of stalk to platform region (25g-4). The gusset includes (v) a platform region (25g-8) and (vi) a base region (25g-6). The wall of pillow region, the attachment of pillow to stalk region, the stalk region and the attachment of stalk to platform region are each flexing regions. The gusset includes an additional flexing region located on the platform region, the additional flexing region adapted to bend when the pillow is compressed. The base region is also a flexing region.
