Summary: | Provided herein are compounds that selectively modulate the sphingosine 1 phosphate receptor including compounds which modulate subtype 1 of the SlP receptor, specifically, compounds of formula I-R and I-S wherein the variables are defined in the specification.. Methods of chiral synthesis of such compounds are provided.
