Summary:595722 A device (1) for dosing and aerosolization / nebulisation of an aerosolizable dry powder material is disclosed. The device (1) comprises a body (2) with an aerosolization channel (3) having a distal attachment portion (4) which can be connected to a pulsed pressure source of carrier gas and a proximal attachment portion (5) for outputting aerosolized material towards a patient. A reservoir (9) is connected in a gas-tight manner to the body (2) in fluid connection with the channel (3) for receiving the material to be aerosolized. At least part of the reservoir walls (11, 12, 17) are self-exciting membranes that can be put into oscillation by the pressure pulses from the gas source. The device (1) may be used in a system in combination with a hollow spacer (20), gas source and a ventilator or CPAP machine.
