Summary:Disclosed herein is a use of acylaminoalkenylene-amide derivative compounds of formula (I) in free form or in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of a functional motility disorder of the viscera, wherein the variables shown in formula (I) are as defined in the specification. These functional motility disorders are associated with visceral hypersenstivity and/or altered motor responses and include a functional bowel disorder or functional gastrointestinal disorder such as irritable bowel syndrome or functional dyspepsia.
