Summary: | An apparatus for detecting anomalies in a wooden member (201) comprises: a first roller device (202); wherein the first roller device comprises a first array of transducers (204-208) and a second roller device (203), wherein the second roller device comprises a second array of transducers (209-213), and wherein the first array of transducers (204-208) communicates with more than one transducer in the second array of transducers (209-213). The first array of transducers and the second array of transducers operate in an ultrasonic frequency range. The first array of transducers (204-208) transmits ultrasonic waves through the wooden member (201) that are received by the second array of transducers (209-213). |
