Summary: | The paste-form to solid, water-containing alkaline detergent contains: i) aqueous lye, preferably potash or soda lye, preferably with a concentration of 42 to 55%, in a quantity of 21 to 70% by weight and preferably 35 to 55% by weight, based on the detergent, and ii) one or more alcoholates of ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, glycerol and butyleneglycol, preferably as potassium or sodium alcoholate, in a total quantity of 0.5 to 40% by weight, preferably 1 to 10% by weight and more preferably 2 to 8% by weight (where all percentages by weight are based on the detergent as a whole), and iii) optionally the alcohols corresponding to the alcoholate b) and/or foam inhibitors and/or builder components and/or paraffin oil and/or surfactants and/or alkali metal hydroxide in solid form. The detergent is used for cleaning surfaces and tableware or for washing laundry. |
