Volumetric infusion pump with automatic tube loading using motor, gears and camshaft

Typically gear 562 (connected to the motor shaft) and gear 564 (connected to camshaft 510) are cross helical gears. Camshaft 510 actuates tube loading via cams (and followers and pawls not shown). Optionally gear 564 may be rotationally unlocked relative to shaft 510 bv handwheel 600.
