Summary:In applying a spray-concrete layer on a surface, a pumpable as well as sprayable spray-concrete mixt. is made up of cement, aggregates, opt. additives and water. A given stream of the spray-concrete mixt. is passed with a concrete-conveyor pump through a concrete-conveyor conduit to a spray-device with a frictional air inlet for propellant air standing under a conveyor pressure of several bar. The spray-concrete mixt. is sprayed with the propellent air. The novelty comprises charging the propellant air with SiO2 powder having internal surface at least 25 (200-300) sq.m/g. The SiO2 powder is introduced with the propellant air into the stream of the spray-concrete mixt. in an amt. such that the applied spray-concrete undergoes a spontaneous temp. increase of a few-(5-10) deg.K directly after application.
