Summary:An installation box, especially a wall installation box, for holding installation devices such as switches, sockets and other similar inserts, which allows such installation devices to be attached to a suspension bracket by means of screws guided in screw holes in the socket wall. According to the invention, the screws (2) are flattened along their shank on opposite sides (4) of their circumference, the screw holes (3) are designed correspondingly, their hole wall between their flattened sides (5) being narrower than the screws by the thickness of the thread between the shank sides that are not flattened, in a known manner, but the screw holes (3) forming stops (7, 8) in each case for at least one thread region and one engagement-free region, by means of their cross-sectional profile (6), which stops (7, 8) limit a rotational movement space of the screw between engagement and non-engagement.
