Summary:In order to achieve a compact design and regular shapes, the kitchen fan has a casing in the form of a box which is bounded by six planar faces and which has no outwardly projecting parts of the fan attached to it. The casing, by its topside (4), can be attached to the underside of a wall-mounted cupboard. The base plate (2) of the casing contains an air intake port (43) which is situated opposite the underside of the fan (17) and above which, situated below the fan, a grease deposition filter (44) is arranged. The ducts moving the air away from the fan are located entirely within the boundary walls of the casing, inserted into which there are also the fan casing (41) side walls which run spirally.
