Summary:The flexible housing receives a pipe conduit from both sides of a space-dividing component which has an aperture into which the housing fits. The housing incorporates an inner component for taking the pipe, an outer fixture with gas-tight connection to the space-dividing component in the area of the housing aperture, and also a sprung bendable ring unit for producing a gas-tight union between the inner component and outer fixture. Protective flanges (26, 27) are fitted to the inner component (13) and outer fixture (24), which flanges leave under normal temperature conditions an open slot (30) between the inner component (13), the outer fixture (24) and the ring unit. On the slot edge is a stop (28, 29) which, under heat effect, closes the slot in a fire-preventing and gas-tight manner.
