The present disclosure relates to a method for improving economic traits of different flue-cured tobacco varieties in a medium-heat sunlight-rich region of Qujing, including 5 the following steps: step 1): planting the following different flue-cured tobacco varieties in the medium-heat sunlight-rich region of Qujing: HonghuaDajinyuan, K326, Yunyan 87, Yunyan 97, Yunyan 100, and Yunyan 105, step 2): setting different fertilization treatments for the different flue-cured tobacco varieties, and step 3): determining the economic traits of the different flue-cured tobacco varieties. In the present disclosure, 10 detailed research is conducted for the six flue-cured tobacco varieties suitable for cultivation in the medium-heat sunlight-rich region of Qujing, and it is determined that what fertilization treatment can be adopted for the six flue-cured tobacco varieties to significantly impact and change late-stage economic traits of the flue-cured tobacco varieties. Research findings of the present disclosure can play a positive role in the 15 economic production of the six flue-cured tobacco varieties.
