Summary:In a datacenter, first, second and third data center modules interconnected through a datacenter network are configured for processing and storing a first, second and third type of data that is stored and changed with a high frequency, low frequency, and almost never, respectively. The data processed in the datacenter are classified in the different types of data by a classification processing system, transferring the first, second or third type of data identified in the second and third, third and first, or first and second datacenter modules to the first, second or third datacenter module, respectively. The suitability of the datacenter modules for storing and processing of their respective types of data, is determined by considering available and/or required amounts of electrical and/or thermal energy at the locations of the datacenter modules.
