A cross network (3) is disposed between a laser radiation source and the apparatus, such that the diffraction orders of the network are reproduced on the detector. A spectral filter (4) is placed upstream of the detector. An independent claim is also included for a method of detecting and localizing laser radiation source using a laser radiation source detection and localization device.
