Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for producing a dental implant with nickel titanium alloy, characterized by the steps of pre-mixing nickel and titanium powders; mixing a primary binder and a secondary binder with the nickel and titanium powders; heating the mixture of the nickel and titanium powders the primary binder and the secondary binder to form a feedstock; pelletizing said feedstock to form a plurality of pellets; moulding the plurality of pellets via metal injection moulding into the dental implant; extracting the primary binder from the dental implant with an aqueous leaching agent; decomposing the secondary binder from the dental implant with thermal debinding; and sintering the dental implant under vacuum to form nickel titanium alloy. |
