The present invention discloses a disposable scrubbing product for use in household cleaning or personal care applications. In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to a cleaning tool including a handle and a rigid base to which the scrubbing product of the present invention may be attached to form a convenient cleaning tool. The scrubbing product of the invention is a multi-layer laminate product and generally includes at least two distinct layers, an abrasive layer (32) and an absorbent fibrous layer (34) such as a layer tissue made from papermaking fibers, a layer of coform, an airlaid web, or combinations thereof. The abrasive layer (32) is formed primarily of polymeric fibers in a disordered or random distribution as is typical of fibers deposited in meltblown or spunbond processes so as to form an open, porous structure. In one embodiment, the abrasive layer (32) comprises multifilamentary aggregate fibers. In one embodiment, the absorbent fibrous (34) layer is an uncreped, through dried paper web. La presente invencion describe un producto para fregar desechable que puede usarse en aplicaciones para el cuidado personal o de limpieza domestica. En una incorporacion, la presente invencion esta dirigida a una herramienta de limpieza que incluye una manija y una base rigida la cual el producto de fregado de la presente invencion puede ser sujetado para formar una herramienta de limpieza conveniente. El producto para fregar de la invencion es un producto laminado de capas multiples y generalmente incluye por lo menos dos capas distintas, una capa abrasiva y una capa fibrosa absorbente tal como un tisu de capa hecho de fibras para hacer papel, una capa de coform, un tejido colocado por aire, combinaciones de los mismos. La capa abrasiva esta formada primariamente de fibras polimericas en una distribucion desordenada o al azar como es tipico de las fibras depositadas en un proceso de soplado con fusion o de union con hilado como para formar una estructura porosa y abierta. En una incorporacion, la capa abrasiva comprende fibras agregadas multifilamentarias. En una incorporacion, la capa fibrosa absorbente es un tejido de papel secado en forma continua y no crepado.
