Summary:An improved housing for an electric toothbrush is disclosed. The improved housing provides two symmetrically positioned gripping members which assist the user in grasping the toothbrush particularly during brushing. Each of the gripping members includes a recessed gripping region having particular dimensional characteristics. The two gripping members are symmetrically arranged on the rearward sides of the toothbrush so that the brush may be used by both left-handed and right-handed individuals. A third gripping member may also be provided along the housing of the toothbrush. Se describe un alojamiento mejorado para un cepillo dental electrico; el alojamiento mejorado suministra dos miembros de agarre simetricamente ubicados que ayudan al usuario a sujetar el cepillo dental particularmente durante el cepillado; cada uno de los miembros de agarre incluye una region de agarre en bajo relieve que posee caracteristicas dimensionales particulares; los dos miembros de agarre se colocan simetricamente en los lados posteriores del cepillo dental a fin de que el cepillo se pueda usar tanto con la mano izquierda asi como con la mano derecha; se puede proporcionar un tercer miembro de agarre a lo largo del alojamiento del cepillo dental.
