Summary:The invention relates to the production of chimeric chains that code for proteins that induce in the receptor effects against viruses. Said proteins stimulate the production of a specific serotype humoral response and protection against infection by Dengue viruses, thereby preventing the effects of non-specific serotype viral amplification which cause haemorrhages and clinical complications which are associated with this type of pathology. The nucleic acid chains comprise a specific combination of fragments belonging to the gene of a mutant protein having N.meningitidis dehydrogenase activity and fragments that code for a region of protein E of the envelope of the Dengue viruses. Moreover, when inserted in an expression vector, said nucleic acid chains give rise to chimeric proteins having specific characteristics. The chimeric molecules resulting from said invention can be used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce highly-serotype-specific diagnoses and vaccine preparations intended for humans.
