Summary:A device for sampling body fluid, the device comprising, a main body, a lancet disposed within the main body, a carrier disposed within the main body fixedly attached to the lancet, a biasing means in communication with the lancet and the carrier, an annular space disposed within the main body adjacent the lancet, and a means for measuring a body fluid. Wherein the means for measuring the body fluid may include micro-porous test strips, an electronic testing device, an optical/reflectance testing measuring device, or a visual inspection. Un dispositivo para tomar muestras de un fluido corporal, el dispositivo comprende un cuerpo principal (105), una lanceta (120) dispuesta dentro del cuerpo principal, un portador (110) dispuesto dentro del cuerpo principal unido de manera fija a la lanceta, un medio de desviacion (150) en comunicacion con la lanceta y el portador, un espacio anular (130) dispuesto dentro del cuerpo principal adyacente a la lanceta y un medio para medir un fluido corporal. En donde el medio para medir el fluido corporal puede incluir tiras reactivas micro-porosas, un dispositivo de prueba electronico, un dispositivo de medicion de prueba optico/de reflectancia o una inspeccion visual.
