To provide PPARggr; modulators seemingly usable in remedies for involutional osteoporosis which inhibit the accelerated differentiation of adipocytes and promote the formation and differentiation of osteoblasts from stem cells, or remedies for diabetes which are free from excessive formation of adipocytes, liver functional failure, vascular lesion, heart failure, etc. Compounds represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof: wherein A represents phenyl, etc. ; B represents aryl, etc.; X represents oxygen, etc.; and n is 0 or 1. Se proporcionan moduladores de PPAR-y que se pueden utilizar aparentemente en remedios para osteoporosis involutiva, los cuales inhiben la diferenciacion acelerada de adipocitos y promueven la formacion de diferenciacion de osteoblastos a partir de celulas del tallo, o remedios para diabetes, los cuales estan libres de formacion excesiva de adipocitos, falla funcional del higado, lesion vascular, falla cardiaca, etc.; los compuestos estan representados por la formula general (I) (ver formula) o sales farmacologicamente aceptables de los mismos; en donde A representa fenilo, etc.; B representa afilo, etc.; X representa oxigeno; y n es 0 o 1.
