The present invention relates to an absorbent article having a stable skin care composition disposed on its skin-contacting surface. The skin care composition is readily transferable to the skin via normal contact, wearer motion, and/or body heat. Importantly, the skin care composition contains at least one skin care ingredient imparting visible skin benefits to the skin upon transfer to the skin and at least one rheological agent for stabilizing the composition such that agglomeration, stratification and/or settling of the composition are minimized. The present invention also relates to a process for making the absorbent articles having a stable skin care composition disposed thereon. La presente invencion se relaciona con un articulo absorbente que tiene una composicion para el cuidado de la piel dispuesta sobre su superficie de contacto con la piel. La composicion para el cuidado de la piel es facilmente transferible a la piel a traves del contacto normal, movimiento normal del usuario y/o calor del cuerpo. De manera importante, la composicion para el cuidado de la piel contiene por lo menos un ingrediente para el cuidado de la piel que imparte beneficios visibles a la piel al transferir a la piel y por lo menos un agente reologico para estabilizar la composicion de manera que se reduce al minimo la aglomeracion, estratificacion y/o sedimentacion de la composicion. La presente invencion tambien se relaciona con un proceso para elaborar articulos absorbentes que tengan una composicion estable para el cuidado de la piel dispuesta en los mismos.
