The present invention refers to the use of water-soluble L. tridentata resin extracts as environmentally friendly nematicides useful in diverse crops including the Solanaceae, Leguminous, Cucurbitaceae, Amaryllidaceae and Compound families amongst others. An application method is further included, which is based in pressurised irrigation methods such as dripping or spraying, or by means of a backpack or mechanical drive sprayer. The inventive mixtures may be used alone or as a part of a formulation including further agrochemical products such as growth regulators, pesticides, fertilizers or nutrients. Said mixtures may be applied in powder or in aqueous solutions at different concentrations depending on the type of nematodes to be removed and the results to be obtained. La presente invencion se refiere al uso de extractos hidrosolubles de la resina de L. tridentata como nematicidas ambientalmente inocuos, para ser empleados en diversos cultivos que pueden incluir a las familias de las Solanaceas, Leguminosas, Cucurbitaceas, Amarilidaceas y Compuestas, entre otras. Se incluye tambien el metodo de aplicacion, el cual se basa en metodos de riego presurizados como el goteo o aspersion, o en la aplicacion mediante el uso de aspersoras de mochila o de traccion mecanica. Los extractos hidrosolubles de la resina de L. tridentata pueden utilizarse solos, mezclados entre si, o mezclados con otros productos agroquimicos como pueden ser otros reguladores del crecimiento, pesticidas, fertilizantes o nutrientes. Se pueden aplicar en forma de polvo o en forma de soluciones acuosas a diferentes concentraciones, las cuales dependeran del tipo de nematodos que se pretenda erradicar y de los resultados que se quieran obtener.
