Summary: | Hydroformylation of alkenes to aldehydes in the presence of a rhodium complex catalyst is improved by the addition of a novel bidentate ligand of formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R1' and R2' are organic radicals selected from alicyclic, aliphatic and aromatic groups of which at least one is preferably substituted with at least one electronegative moiety and the methylene groups are present at the trans-2,3 positions on the norbornane moiety. The invention also provides a novel method for producing the bidentate ligand and novel intermediate phosphine oxide and phosphinous acid compounds.
Hidroformilacion de alquenos a aldehídos en presencia de catalizador de complejo de rodio es mejorada mediante la adicion de un ligando bidentado novedoso de la formula (I): en donde R1, R2, R1' y R2' son radicales orgánicos seleccionados de grupos alicíclico, alifático y aromático de los cuales por lo menos uno es preferentemente substituido por lo menos por una porcion electronegativa y los grupos metileno están presentes en las posiciones trans-2,3 sobre la porcion norbornano; la invencion también provee método novedoso para producir el ligando bidentado y compuestos de oxido de fosfina y ácido fosfino intermediarios novedosos. |
