The present invention relates to an aqueous, liquid hard surface detergent composition having excellent surface lubricity and filming/streaking characteristics. Said composition comprises less than about 1 percent, by weight of the composition, of a C8-C18 linear alkyl sulfate detergent surfactant wherein more than about 30 percent, by weight of said surfactant, has a C14 chainlength, is essentially free of unreacted fatty alcohol and alkanolamine compounds and is suitable for cleaning glass. La presente invencion se refiere a una composicion detergente acuosa, líquida de superficie dura que tiene excelentes características de lubricidad de superficie y formacion de película/veteado; dicha composicion comprende meno de aproximadamente 1%, en peso de la composicion, de un agente tensioactivo detergente de alquil sulfato lineal de C8-C18 en donde más de aproximadamente 30%, en peso de dicho agente tensioactivo, tiene una longitud de cadena de C14, está esencialmente libre de alcohol graso no reaccionado y compuestos de alcanolamina y es adecuada para limpiar vidrio.
