Summary:This invention presents a detergent pastille comprising at least 50 percent by weight of a non phosphate shaper and from 0 up to 20 percent by weight of a phosphate shaper, having incorporated therein a binding substance from 0.3 up to 5 percent by weight of a neutralized polymer of hydrophilic or hydrophobic monomers having a glass transition temperature (Tg) from 40 up to 120 degree C, the monomers of which comprise (meth)acrylic acid, maleic anhydride, hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylic acids, alkyl (meth)acrylates, alkylhydroxy (meth)acrylates, alkyl or styrene(meth)acrylic acids, polymer has a molecular weight from 10,000 up to 120,000. Pastille has improved physical properties compared to those of background art.
