Summary: | An integrated multiple cross-connect system (10) having remotely located components interconnected by integrated office links (34, 36, 40) is provided. The integrated office link (34, 36, 40) carry duplex transmission of an IOL-N signal of N multiplexed STS-1P optical signals at an OC-N rate, the STS-1P include data payload and overhead field. Fault coverage information in the IOL overhead field are monitored at selected points along a transmission path. Upon detecting a fault, all the monitors in the transmission path are enabled to monitor the IOL overhead fault coverage information to isolate the origin of the detected fault.
Se proporciona un sistema de conexion cruzada multiple integrada teniendo los componentes localizados remotamente interconectados por los enlaces de la oficina integrados. EL enlace de oficina integrado lleva la transmision duplex de una señal IOL-N de N señales STS-1p multiplexadas a una tasa OC-N, la señal STS-1P incluye los datos de carga de pago y de campo en general. La informacion de cobertura de falla en el campo de carga IOL es vigilada en puntos seleccionados a lo largo de una trayectoria de transmision. Al detectarse una falla, todos los monitores en la trayectoria de transmision son habilitados para vigilar la informacion de cobertura de falla de carga general IOL para aislar el origen de la falla detectada. |
