Summary:The invention refers to a preparation and evaluation technique of catalytic compositions for the reaction of synthesis gas, the compositions comprising metallic oxides saturated with alkali metal. The preparations were made by gel impregnation with an alkali compound carrying solution, subsequently calcinating the resulting product to obtain a catalyst. The catalysts are constituted by metallic oxides from groups I-B, VI-B and VII of the element periodic table, and promoted by an alkali metal basic action; the oxides content is comprised between 94 and 96 percent by weight and 2-4 percent of basic agent. The innovation is further related to a catalytic structure resulting from the process for the obtention thereof. La invencion se refiere a una técnica de preparacion y evaluacion de composiciones catalíticas para la reaccion de gas de síntesis, formados por oxidos metálicos impregnados con metal alcalino. Las preparaciones se efectuaron por impregnacion de un gel con una solucion portadora de un compuesto alcalino, posteriormente el producto resultante se calcina para obtener el catalizador. Los catalizadores están constituidos por oxidos metálicos de los grupos I-B, VI-B y VII de la tabla periodica, promovidos por la accion básica de un metal alcalino. El contenido de oxidos está comprendido entre un 94 y un 96% en peso y del 2-4% del agente básico. La innovacion igualmente se relaciona con la estructura catalítica resultante del procedimiento para obtenerla.
