The present invention relates to inventive novel industrialized method for preparing purified extract containing more abundant active ingredients such as catalpol derivatives from the extract of Pseudolysimachion rotundum var subintegrum than that prepared by the conventional preparation method disclosed in the prior art and the therapeutics or functional health food comprising the purified extract for treating and preventing inflammatory, allergic or asthmatic disease. The purified extract showed more potent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy and anti-asthma activity than that prepared by the conventional preparation method disclosed in the prior art through various in vivo tests such as inhibition test on the reproduction of eosinolphil, the release of immunoglobulin and inflammatory chemokines in plasma and bronchoalveolar fluid as well as the suppression of airway hyperresponsiveness and golblet cell hyperplasia in a OVA-sensitized/challenged mouse model. La presente invención se relaciona con un nuevo método industrializado para preparar un extracto purificado que contiene abundantes ingredientes activos tales como derivados de catalpol a partir del extracto de Pseudolysimachion rotundum var subintegrum que el preparado mediante el método de preparación convencional descrito en la técnica anterior y los terapéuticos o alimentos de salud funcionales que comprenden el extracto purificado para tratar y prevenir enfermedades inflamatorias, alérgicas o asmáticas. El extracto purificado mostró una actividad antiinflamatoria, antialérgica y contra el asma más potente que el preparado mediante el método de preparación convencional descrito en la técnica anterior a través de varias pruebas in vivo tales como la prueba de inhibición de la reproducción de eosinófilos, la liberación de inmunoglobulinas y quimiocinas inflamatorias en el plasma y fluido broncoalveolar así como la supresión de la hiperreactividad de las vías respiratorias y la hiperplasia de células caliciformes en un modelo de ratón retado/sensibilizado con OVA.
