There is described a sheet packaging material (M) for producing a sealed package (1) of a pourable food product; the packaging material (M) comprises one base layer (11) for imparting stiffness, a number of lamination layers (12) covering both sides of the base layer (11), and a removable portion (10, 10', 10'', 10''', 10''', 10''') which, in use, can be detached partly from the rest of the packaging material (M) along at least one arc-shaped cutting line (20, 20''') and folded at a folding zone (21, 81) extending between the opposite ends of the cutting line (20, 20''') so as to free a pour opening (9) by which to pour the food product from the package (1); the removable portion (10, 10', 10", 10'", 10"", 10'"") comprises a central area (25) made of whole packaging material and which, in use, in any case, remains attached to the rest of the packaging material (M) through a permanent bridge (26) defined by the folding zone (21, 81), and a peripheral area (27, 27', 27", 27'", 27"", 27'"") for cutting interaction, extending around part of the central area (25), containing the cutting line (20, 20'"") and including at least one pre-laminated opening (30, 30', 30", 30'", 30a"", 30b"", 30c"", 30'""), which is formed by a through slot (31, 31', 31", 31'", 31a"", 31b"", 31c"", 31'"") provided at least in the base layer (1) and covered by one or more of the lamination layers (12). La presente invención se refiere a un material de empaque en forma de hoja (M) para producir un empaque sellado (1) de un producto alimenticio que se puede verter; el material de empaque (M) comprende una capa base (11) para impartir rigidez; un número de capas de laminación (12) que cubren ambos lados de la capa base (11); y una porción removible (10, 10´, 10´´, 10´´´, 10´´´´, 10´´´´´) la cual, en el uso, puede ser desunida parcialmente del resto del material de empaque (M) a lo largo de al menos una línea cortante con forma de arco (20, 20´´´´´) y doblada en una zona de doblez (21, 81) que se extiende entre los extremos opuestos de la línea cortante (20, 20´´´´´) para liberar una abertura para el vertido (9) por medio de la cual se vierte el producto alimenticio desde el empaque (1); la porción removible (10, 10´, 10´´, 10´´´, 10´´´´, 10´´´´´) comprende un área central hecha de un material de empaque completo y el cual, en el uso, en cualquier caso, permanece fijado al resto del material de empaque (M) por medio de un puente permanente (26) definido por la zona de doblez (21, 81); y un área periférica (27, 27´, 27´´, 27´´´, 27´´´´, 27´´´´´) para la interacción cortante, que se extiende alrededor de una parte del área central (25), que contiene la línea cortante (20, 20´´´´´) y que incluye al menos una abertura pre-laminada (30, 30´, 30´´, 30´´´, 30a´´´´, 30b´´´´, 30c´´´´, 30´´´´´), que está formada por una ranura pasante (31, 31´, 31´´ 31´´´, 31a´´´´, 31b´´´´, 31c´´´´, 31´´´´´provista al menos en la capa base (1) y cubierta por una o más capas de laminación (12).
