Se desvelan suspensiones de microcápsulas de núcleo-cubierta biodegradables compuestas por microcápsulas que tienen una pared formada por autocondensación de un isocianato en presencia de una proteína de guisante desnaturalizada como dispersante. También se desvelan productos de consumo que contienen una suspensión de microcápsulas de núcleo-cubierta de este tipo y métodos para producir suspensiones de microcápsulas de núcleo-cubierta.
