Summary:The present invention describes a method for the impregnation of titanium oxide in cotton dressings, a potential game-changer in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. The method, which involves a precise sequence of steps including mixing anhydrous ethyl alcohol, deionized water and PVP at a temperature of 70°C, and subsequently adding titanium n-butoxide, reacting the mixture in a microwave reactor, removing the solvent through a rotary evaporator at reduced pressure and irradiating the product at a wavelength of 250nm, and impregnating and drying, has the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes and motivate us to continue our research and development efforts.
