Provided is a resin-coated metal plate that ensures excellent take-out property for various contents even when used for a DI can and stably satisfies various characteristics required for a container material.　The resin-coated metal plate is provided with a resin coating layer including a polyester resin as a main component on at least one of two sides of a metal plate, wherein the coating layer has a thickness of 21-38 μm (inclusive), includes 0.01-2.00% by mass (inclusive) of a wax compound, and has an indentation elastic modulus of the surface of 2000-3400 MPa (inclusive). Se proporciona una lámina metálica revestida de resina que, incluso cuando se usa en una lata DI, garantiza una excelente capacidad de remoción para varios contenidos y satisface de manera estable las diversas propiedades requeridas del material del recipiente. Una lámina metálica revestida de resina comprende: una lámina metálica; y una capa de revestimiento de una resina que contiene una resina de poliéster como componente principal, en al menos una superficie de ambas superficies de la lámina metálica, en donde la capa de revestimiento tiene un espesor de 21 µm o más y 38 µm o menos, contiene 0.01% en masa o más y 2.00% en masa o menos de un compuesto de cera, y tiene un módulo de indentación superficial de 2000 MPa o más y 3400 MPa o menos.
