The invention relates to cosmetic and dermatological preparations that comprise a combination of levulinic acid and anisic acid. The preparations according to the invention are particularly suitable for use on skin. The preparations have a selective antibacterial effect on skin by specifically controlling anaerobic bacteria of the skin flora while having little or no bactericidal effect on aerobic bacteria. The compositions according to the invention are therefore suitable for cosmetic skin care and for the dermatological treatment of certain skin disorders, such as acne.The invention relates to cosmetic and dermatological preparations that comprise a combination of levulinic acid and anisic acid. La invención se refiere a preparaciones cosméticas y dermatológicas, que comprenden una combinación de ácido levulínico y ácido anísico. Las preparaciones de acuerdo con la invención son adecuadas en particular para su aplicación sobre la piel. Las preparaciones muestran una acción antibacteriana selectiva sobre la piel, luchando de manera dirigida contra bacterias anaeróbicas de la flora cutánea, mientras que estas presentan acción bactericida solo baja o ninguna contra bacterias aeróbicas. Las composiciones de acuerdo con la invención son adecuadas de acuerdo con esto para el cuidado cosmético de la piel así como para el tratamiento dermatológico de determinadas enfermedades de la piel, tal como por ejemplo acné.
