Summary:The present invention belongs to agriculture, particularly in organic fungicides, aiming to provide improved compositions to control and treat fungal infections caused by Fusarium in plants that impact the performance of commercial crops. Also, it aims to provide improved compositions and methods using nanostructures as a viable strategy for the preservation and controlled release of bioactive compounds present in extracts of Piper sp., which allows better dispersion in water and a safer application, incorporating a large amount of the extract, a release controlled and, in turn, at an appropriate speed to control the pathogen, in addition to the efficiency of the extract not being affected by environmental factors such as UV light. La presente invención pertenece al campo de la agricultura, particularmente al área de los fungicidas orgánicos. Esta invención esta dirigida a proporcionar composiciones mejoradas para controlar y tratar infecciones fúngicas causadas Fusarium en plantas que impactan en el rendimiento en cultivos agrícolas comerciales. Se proporcionan composiciones y métodos mejorados usando nanoestructuras como una estrategia viable para la preservación y liberación controlada de compuestos bioactivos presente en extractos de Piper sp., que permite mejor dispersión en agua y una aplicación más segura, incorporar una gran cantidad del extracto, una liberación controlada y, a su vez, a una velocidad apropiada para controlar al patógeno, además que la eficiencia del extracto no muestra afectación por factores ambientales como la luz UV.
