La presente invención provee nanocápsulas de carvacrol con un tamaño de 157.4 + 1.4 nm, con un índice de polidispersidad de 0.109 + 0.024 y un potencial zeta (?) de -8.88 + 0.846, un porcentaje de eficiencia de encapsulación de 28.39 + 1.70 % y un porcentaje de encapsulación de 13.19 + 0.85 %, y su uso como agente antioxidante dermoprotector para la elaboración de una formulación que preserva la integridad de la piel y la mantiene hidratada.
