Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for encapsulating active compounds in wax-based matrices by a low-energy emulsion process. Said method is of low energy consumption, allowing dispersing of the active compounds retained in a wax matrix, increasing their interaction with the matrix compounds, preventing their dissolution in an aqueous medium, and providing the wax matrix with synergistic absorption properties and ultraviolet light. Also, it obtains an emulsion of the oil-in-water type consisting of solid nanoparticles based on natural waxes with synergistic properties of ultraviolet light absorption, providing desirable technical and sustainability characteristics for its application as additives in the cosmetics, food, agriculture, plastics, textiles, and paint industries, among others.
La presente invención se refiere a un método de encapsulación de compuestos activos en matrices basadas en ceras, mediante un proceso de emulsión de baja energía. El método de encapsulamiento permite dispersar y retener los compuestos activos en una matriz de cera, lo que permite incrementar su interacción con los compuestos de la matriz, evitar su disolución en un medio acuoso y proveer a la matriz de cera de propiedades sinergísticas de absorción de luz ultravioleta, además de ser un método de encapsulamiento de bajo consumo de energía. Particularmente, se describe un método de encapsulamiento para obtener una emulsión del tipo aceite-en-agua constituida por nanopartículas sólidas basadas en ceras naturales con propiedades sinergísticas de absorción de luz ultravioleta, la cual provee de características técnicas y de sustentabilidad deseables para su aplicación como aditivos en la industria de cosméticos, alimenticio, agricultura, plásticos, textiles, pinturas, entre otras. |
