The present invention aims to provide a method for the synthesis of the ZrO2-70 Nano restore, which consists of preparing a solution with ethyl alcohol, deionized water, and polyvinylpyrrolidone, adding to a three-way reactor raising the reflux temperature to 70°C, stirring constantly, adding zirconium n-butoxide, immersing the product at 10°C, extracting the solvent under reduced pressure, and drying the product at 70°C. Also, it relates to a method for the photo degradation of the indigo dye with the Nano catalyst ZrO2-550, subjecting the product to a UV-VIS spectrophotometer. La presente invención proporciona método para la síntesis del Nanoreservorio de ZrO2-70, el cual comprende las etapas de preparar una solución con alcohol etílico, agua desionizada y polivinilpirrolidona; adicionar la solución a un reactor de tres vías elevando la temperatura de reflujo desde ambiente de 70°C; mantener constante la temperatura de reflujo y la agitación; agregar n-butóxido de circonio; sumergir el producto a 10°C: extraer el solvente a presión reducida y secar el producto a 70°C. Así como un método para la fotodegradación del colorante índigo con el nanocatalizador ZrO2-550 y someter el producto a espectrofotómetro de UV-VIS.
