La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo para monitorear y/o modificar un tratamiento de diálisis peritoneal, que incluye: una memoria la cual almacena al menos un protocolo de tratamiento; un sistema de circuitos de control conectado a la memoria, en donde tal sistema de circuitos de control genera un reporte y/o modifica el tratamiento si un resultado del tratamiento no es un resultado deseado del protocolo de tratamiento.
