Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for preparing cDNA infectious clones based on the genome of an attenuated Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (PRRSV) and uses thereof for preparing efficacious and safety-enhanced vaccines against PRRSV. The invention further comprises an infectious cDNA clone obtainable by such method. The invention further provides an attenuated modified PRRSV, and immunogenic compositions and vaccines comprising that attenuated PRRSV. The present invention further provides the attenuated PRRSV for use in the prophylaxis and/or the treatment of PRRSV infections, and the attenuated PRRSV for use as vaccine or medicament in the prophylaxis and/or the treatment of PRRSV infections.
La presente invención se refiere a un método para preparar clones infecciosos de ADNc basados en el genoma de un virus atenuado del síndrome respiratorio y reproductivo porcino (PRRSV) y usos de los mismos en la preparación de vacunas eficaces y con seguridad mejorada contra PRRSV. La invención comprende además un clon infeccioso de ADNc obtenible mediante dicho método. La invención proporciona además un PRRSV atenuado modificado y composiciones inmunogénicas y vacunas que comprenden ese PRRSV atenuado. La presente invención proporciona además el PRRSV atenuado para uso en la profilaxis y/o el tratamiento de infecciones por PRRSV, y el PRRSV atenuado para uso como vacuna o medicamento en la profilaxis y/o el tratamiento de infecciones por PRRSV. |
