Summary:The present disclosure is related to the search to overcome the problems related to the costs of raw materials and reagents used in the industrial, domestic, micro-enterprise sectors, that have the need to measure water hardness. The present invention has a lower cost in comparison with those commercially available in the market. In addition, this product retains the same reliability and quality for the determination of total hardness in liquid samples. The kit is made up of an EDTA-based titrant solution and a reagent called Hardness I, being a profitable product from the cost-benefit point of view, in addition to being a faster and simpler method. La presente invención busca superar los problemas relacionados con los costos de materias primas y reactivos utilizados en el sector ya sea industrial, domestico, microempresas que tengan la necesidad de medir dureza del agua, ya que este es de menor costo en comparación con los comercialmente disponibles en el mercado; además de que este producto conserva la misma confiabilidad y calidad para la determinación de la dureza total en muestras líquidas. El kit se encuentra conformado por una solución titulante a base ADTA y un reactivo denominado Dureza I, siendo un producto rentable desde el punto de vista costo beneficio, y un método más rápido y sencillo.
