Summary:The present invention discloses a process for the preparation of 23-acetyldiosgenin oxime acetate, which includes the following steps: epoxylestene synthesis of diosgenin from diosgenin, synthesis of 23-acetyldiosgenin from diosgenin epoxylestene, synthesis of 23(S)-acetyldiosgenin from 23-acetyldiosgenin, and synthesis of 23-acetyldiosgenin acetate from 23(S)-acetyldiosgenin acetate. La presente invención describe un proceso para la obtención de acetato de oxima 23-acetildiosgenina, el cual incluye las siguientes etapas: síntesis de epoxicolesteno de diosgenina a partir de diosgenina, síntesis de 23-acetildiosgenina a partir de epoxicolesteno de diosgenina, síntesis de acetato de 23(S)-acetildiosgenina a partir de 23-acetildiosgenina, y síntesis de acetato de 23-acetildiosgenina a partir de acetato de 23(S)-acetildiosgenina.
